The documentary produced by the Faculty of Journalism and Social Communication now has its first poster, designed by QKStudio.
“Pequeña Babilonia” is part of the Faculty’s productions marking 30 years of democracy. It describes the musical rebuilding of La Plata after the dictatorship and pays tribute to the figures who shaped the local scene and became role models for later generations in their search for a local and national identity through music.

It is directed by Hernán Moyano, with journalistic direction by Cristian Scarpetta. The documentary will be divided into 3 parts. This first part looks back at the most notable moments of the period from 1982 to 1993.
The film will show previously unseen footage of La Plata bands from the 1980s and early 1990s, along with testimonies from the main figures of the music scene such as Marcelo Moura , Manuel Moretti, Peligrosos Gorriones, Las Canoplas, Marcelo Montolivo, Flavio Casanova, Oscar Jalil, Sergio Pujol, Tom Lupo, Alfredo Rosso, Sergio Ledesma, Fenton, Kubilai Medina, Fernando Rickard, Cabe Mallo, Ramiro Sagasti, Alfredo Calvelo, Victor “Torio” Bertamoni, Andres Dupetit, Ricardo Massei, among others.
