The Universo Camuzzín – Camuzzi Gas Chatbot project, developed by QKStudio, earned the Argentine Good Design Seal (Sello de Buen Diseño Argentino, SBD) in its 13th edition, standing out as an exemplary case of integrated design applied to digital innovation in public services.
Camuzzín: design, empathy and innovation
Camuzzín is much more than a chatbot: it’s a character designed and animated to convey empathy, closeness and Camuzzi’s values. Its visual identity and transmedia narrative make it a trustworthy, human assistant that connects emotionally with users while resolving their questions efficiently.
Today, the bot answers more than 45,000 inquiries a month, and in winter, when demand rises sharply, that number climbs past 60,000. Its rollout drastically reduced visits to physical offices and cut the volume of phone calls and emails, shortening response times and significantly improving the customer experience.
A digital transformation journey
Camuzzín was built as part of the digital transformation that Camuzzi began with QKStudio in 2018. That journey included modernizing operations, creating the Virtual Office for households, businesses and large customers, and strengthening digital channels.
Thanks to these initiatives, the company was able to keep operating at full efficiency during the pandemic, while building a more agile and closer relationship with its users. Camuzzín is the natural evolution of this process, taking the interaction to a more human, empathetic level.
Recognition for Argentine design
The Argentine Good Design Seal is an official distinction awarded by the Secretariat of Small and Medium Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and the Knowledge Economy of the Ministry of Economy, through the National Design Plan.
The program recognizes products of national industry that stand out for their innovation, quality, sustainable production and contribution to local development.
In this 13th edition, 1,011 products were submitted and 478 were recognized, reflecting the growing interest in the SBD and its consolidation nationwide.
