Google Partner Premier is the highest category of the Google Partners program. Google grants it once a year to the top 3% of participating agencies in each country, based on the growth and retention of their clients. In 2026, QKStudio is part of that group. Here is what Google requires to get there and what changes for those who work with a Premier agency.
Google Partner and Google Partner Premier: the difference
To be a Google Partner, an agency has to meet three requirements that Google publishes in its help center:
- Performance: a minimum optimization score of 70% in its Google Ads manager account.
- Spend: at least USD 10,000 in ad spend over 90 days across the accounts it manages.
- Certification: at least 50% of its account strategists with Google Ads certifications.
Premier Partner is one step further: in addition to meeting the above, the agency has to rank in the top 3% of its country. Google evaluates, among other factors:
- The growth of existing clients’ spend.
- The acquisition of new clients.
- Client retention year over year.
- The use of products beyond search, such as YouTube, Display, Apps and Shopping.
In other words: spending a lot is not enough. Google rewards the agencies whose clients grow and stay.
What you gain by working with a Google Partner Premier
- A certified team that is up to date on Google’s advertising products.
- Validated methodologies with measurable results.
- A direct relationship with Google to solve problems and learn about new features.
- Data-driven decisions, with GA4 measurement and clear reports.
Why it matters when you launch an app or a platform
Most apps fail because of a lack of users, not because of technical problems. Having an agency that designs, develops and knows how to get those users changes the outcome:
- Launch with Google App Campaigns: ads that show your app on Google Play, search, YouTube and the display network, optimized for installs and in-app actions.
- Measurement from day one: GA4 and Firebase set up during development, not afterwards.
- Landing page and onboarding aligned with the campaign: whoever designs the experience also builds the ad, so the message is consistent and conversion improves.
- Continuous optimization: usage data feeds both the campaigns and the product improvements.
How to verify that an agency is a Google Partner Premier
Recognized agencies display an official badge that links to their verified profile on the Google Partners site. If an agency says it is a Partner and does not show the badge, ask for the link to its profile. You can see QKStudio’s on our Google Partner Premier page.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Premier category permanent?
No. Google evaluates and grants it once a year, which is why the year is stated (Premier Partner 2026).
Does a Premier agency charge more?
Not necessarily. Fees depend on each agency; the media spend is always paid directly to Google.
Is it only useful for Google Ads?
The program evaluates work in Google Ads, but experience in measurement, analytics and conversion optimization benefits the whole digital product.
